Introduction

The genus Neodhysores is found only in southeastern Brazil. There are only three known specimens, representing two species.

Characteristics

The representatives of Neodhysores have two setae on the labrum. The pronotum has angular and about five marginal setae. There are minor setae on antennomeres VI-X. The prefrontal pits are oblique, prominent, and separated by less tban half the width of one of them. The postantennal pits are prominent. The orbital groove is absent. The discal striole extends nearly to the anterior margin of the pronotum. The eye and the hind wing are large and normal.
