  1. Arms
    1. Arms tips in subadults not unusually attenuate; arms I with xx-xx pairs of suckers.
    2. Large arm III sucker rings with ca. 15 large, pointed teeth on distal half; median tooth slightly enlarged relative to others

  2. Tentacles
    1. Carpal locking-apparatus with 1-4 knobs and 1-3 smooth-ringed suckers (Wormuth, 1975).
