Ross T. BellCharacteristics
The dorsal surface of the body is opaque and very coarsely punctate. The pronotum has angular setae (the only genus of Omoglymmiina to possess them). The paramedian grooves of the pronotum are complete. The pronotum is without lateral setae. The elytron has 6-7 setae in stria IV and about 5 subapicals in stria VII. Minor setae are present on antennomeres VII-X. The eye is large. Temporal setae are absent.

The hind tibia of the male is sharply bent at the middle, and the distal half is occupied by a very large, triangular calcar, which is adapted to a deep, nearly linear slit occupying the lateral margins of sterna IV and V. The hind tibia has two spurs. The middle tibia has two spurs in the female, only one in the male.
