Introduction
Orthoglymmius is a subgenus with eight species from the Oriental Realm as well as Taiwan and Japan.Characteristics
Orthoglymmius is similar to Omoglymmius s. str., but the clypeal setae are present. The spur of the middle tibia is straight, and the deepest lateral pits of the female are on sternum V. The antenna is without an apical stylus or basal setae. The eye is large and deeper than long. The elytral striae are regular, and the discal setae of the elytra are well developed.
