Bembidion confusum
Characteristics
Elytra with rufous or testaceous color, darker toward the edges, and with rows of punctures bright metallic green, blue, or gold. Mandibles and lacinae unusually long and straight.
Geographic Distribution
Southern Canada, east of the Rocky Mountains, south to Colorado in the west and Georgia in the east.Habitat
On barren, clay-sand shores of rivers and lakes.
